My name is Sterling Baldwin. I am a convict that has done 2 terms in the California prison system and I have now become an entrepreneur. I remember all of the obstacles that I was faced with when I was first released on parole, and at times they seemed to be insurmountable. I couldn't get a job, couldn't find anyone willing to rent a room or an apartment to me, or really give me a chance at all.

That's when I made the decision to take matters into my own hands!

I believe from my own experience, the best way for a convict to really succeed in society is to make a way for themselves. Some temp agencies are willing to work with convicts and parolees but the jobs are still very temporary and sporadic. With a lack of resources & opportunities, that's what usually leads to us reverting back to our old ways, and the same bad habits that landed us in jail in the first place!
